About
Driven by passion for both expression and healing, Kenzie McManus is a BFA Candidate at Auburn University with a concentration in sculpture and a minor in psychology. Outside the studio, she brings creativity and care into her role as a Recreation Counselor for Auburn Parks and Recreation’s therapeutic programs, where she works with participants of all ages with disabilities. Inside the studio, she creates work that explores grief, memory, growth, and human connection.
She is passionate about both helping others and making art, and she’s eager to bring those two worlds together in her future career. Her studio experience, paired with her work experience, has shaped her assertion that art has the power to heal and bring joy. Kenzie, a Dean’s list student, plans to continue her journey by pursuing a Master’s in Art Therapy, with the goal of working with children and teens. With an enthusiastic spirit and a deep commitment to care, she is building a path toward a career where creativity makes a lasting impact.
