I’ll Be Looking at the Moon, But I’ll Be Seeing You 2025
Paper, Metal, Flower Petals, Vines, and Clay
Dear viewer,
Grief transforms us, softens us, and teaches us to see beauty within pain. The loss of my sister has taught me that grief is not something to escape, but something to live with, and to grow through. It is both darkness and light, like an ache that blooms into tenderness.
Although this story is personal, grief is universal and connects us. It reminds us that love endures even when presence fades. I open the most vulnerable parts of myself to offer comfort to others navigating loss.
You are invited to take part in this act of remembrance. Write a letter to someone you miss and place it inside the ceramic moon. In time, I will burn these letters, symbolically sending our words, our love, and our longing to the sky where our loved ones await. Through this ritual, we can release some heaviness and find light in what remains.
